During the first few times of locking, the lever may be stiff. This is normal as mechanical pressure is needed to compress the hydraulic fluid. However, the locking function should become smoother over time.
Only use the Tilt-Lock when loading in a parked position or when stopping and parking. A locked Tilt-Lock while driving can cause damage to the mechanism by tilting the vehicle and lead to life-threatening situations in road traffic.
From speeds of 25 km/h, handlebar vibrations can occur. To minimize this, a steering damper is already integrated in your GLEAM bike. If more sluggish steering is more comfortable, you can have the damping of the steering damper adjusted by an official GLEAM dealer or service partner.

The GLEAM bike has been optimised for urban and rural use. Off-road routes can cause damage to the chassis, as well as the gearbox and drive due to increased vibrations and high forces. Due to the increased risk of accidents, we advise against off-road use.
